One of my sites has Gradwell SIP Trunking - worked perfectly for 8 days up to and including Friday 26th March Office closed

Office open Monday 29th March and although incoming working ok all outgoing calls are failing via Gradwell Primary route and dropping to other ISP route 2

EVENT LOG gives following entry
Call or Registration to 01142510676@(Ln.10000@Gradwell Communications) has failed. 109.224.232.216 replied: 403 Access denied to SIP Trunk Out; from IP:109.224.232.216:5060
SIP Server ID: 12294 30/03/2021 19:57:42

Although has worked for over a week I checked and Made sure that on the extensions that fail do not have an outbound caller ID set that does not belong to myr Gradwell account. Also have made sure all calls use the same outbound rule.

ACTIVITY LOG has following entry
30/03/2021 19:57:42 - [CM503003]: Call(C:3): Call to <sip:[email protected]:0> has failed; Cause: 403 Access denied to SIP Trunk Out/INVITE from 109.224.232.216:5060

Thank you. Any thoughts and guidance very welcome

Hi leejor - thank you for your reply. Unfortunately the supplier Gradwell say the calls are not reaching their system. At their request I have sent them screen shots of SIP Trunk settings and OUTBOUND RULES so hope something comes from that.

It would appear that the 403 is coming from them, the same as when your caller ID was causing calls to fail.

403 Access denied to SIP Trunk Out/INVITE from 109.224.232.216:5060

You might want to go over this, there may be something you are missing.

UPDATE - problem sorted. Thanks for your input NickD_3CX

The site concerned has 2 x FTTC circuits as the speeds are a bit low so we have 2 to give a good speed.

The Static IP of 1st circuit was registered with Gradwell but 2nd week in calls started going out via the 2nd circuit, which wasn't registered with Gradwell.

Gradwell advised they can register more than a single static IP for their service and as soon as they registered the 2nd IP all now works perfectly. Thank you Gradwell and thank you NickD_3CX. 3CX RULES OK!
