Server OS : Windows 10 (this is temporary will move it later)
3CX Version: 16.0.676

I have provisioned the phones and they are working fine. however i noticed that each phone takes two line keys for the assigned extension. The provisioning guide also mentions "The first two keys (or three in the case of GXP1630) are configured as line keys (via the template), and can't be changed, otherwise the phone will not be able to make calls" and its listed as known limitation.

I was wondering is there a work around this. I want only one line key to be used by the extension. Links below are the provisioning guides.

Do you hope to reuse BLF to other use or do you just want no more than one line?

Yes, I want to use one Line key for extension and the rest to use as BLF. But some phones i want to set as one line key as extension rest of keys will remain unused.

if you have not ticked in extensions, forwarding options, to accept multiple calls then even with multiple line key on phone , only one will be in use

There is no work around - as already highlighted the phones required these two line keys to work

Hi @Reso

I would recommend against changing the built in line keys. They are needed in order for the Grandstreams to function properly across the board. If you change this it will break compatibility with your PBX and is not supported on our platform.

The template is designed by the manufacturer according to their recommendations in conjunction with 3CX testing.
