Solved Grandstream DP750 not provisioning

Hi

I have just uploaded a custom template for grandstream dp750. I have a dp750 base and dp 720 handset but they are failing to register after manual configuration.

Is there anything else I am missing?

Hi,

I cannot say for sure since it is not a supported model, but manual registration should work in theory at least.

Check the IP is not blacklisted, and also check the logs to see if the attempt is made.

On the logs, I am getting a message that begins with the following: SIP request (REGISTER) from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx was rejected. Reason: Block WAN requests is ON...

I see, this means the device is registering remotely, and the extension options don't allow Direct SIP

Yes, the device is registering remotely. Thank you so much! The phones have registered!

Glad to hear! If it causes any issues I would suggest to get a supported device, but at least for basic call functionality it should be ok
