GrandStream GXP2170

Since the version 16 update of software and template for the GXP2170 they keep shutting off their pc ports when provisioning is updating. I have to keep turning on VLAN with an ID of 0 in order for someone to be able to use their computer through the phone. This is a non managed switch with a Verizon router they are connected to. This was not necessary before the software and template update with version 16. I also tried the new template that came out today and it did the same thing.

It's weird because I use the PC port of my GXP2170 and it works even without enabling VLAN. I don't know what's going on with this.

Under the extension - enable vlan and leave the default settings.


This was a change from Grandstream in the latest firmware behavior from what I am told.

Please note that a new template was released today solving this issue. Please download the new template and re-provision your phones to apply the change.
