Customer has 4 analog telephone lines. Using Grandstream GXW4104 has the gateway. Calls in and outbound both are hard to hear. The volume is low. Have run the line diagnostics within the Grandstream. Have replaced the actual 4104. Can make calls from the analog lines, bypassing the gateway without any issues. Trying to increase the gains within the Grandstream results in echo.
Calls made on SIP trunks in and out have no issues. In my mind, this eliminates 3cx, network, system, and enduser phones as possible problem areas.
So unless I am wrong, one of two problems. Phone lines or Grandstream Gateway. Gateway has already been replaced. As said previously, calls made directly from the lines, have no issues. I am stuck.
