Grandstream HT812 Provisioning issue

Hi Im trying to register a grandstream HT812 to a new 3cx hosted system and in the part where you put in the 3CX Session Border Controller i used to be able to put in the host address ie companyname.3cx.uk and the device would register and work fine .
I have tried it today and its just an empty dropdown box and i cant type anything in there .
Can anybody help please as im installing this tomorrow :|

Hi Damian,

The system requires you to use an actual 3CX-SBC https://www.3cx.com/docs/3cx-tunnel-session-border-controller/

Once you build an SBC, the drop down menu will be populated with all your available SBCs, so you can choose the one you want and the config file generated will contain whatever LAN IP that SBC reports back to your 3CX system.


It appears you were using it for a purpose other than what it was designed for, and in this case there is nothing that can be done to change this. Why not consider adding an actual 3CX SBC?
