Solved Grandstream provisioning problem DHCP Option 66

Hi
Does anyone have a problem with Grandstream provisioning in the last few days?
My phone can't get the config file. Same situation on manual download:

Provisioning file /provisioning/fourhxm5p7/C074AD02E802.cfg requested by XXXX could not be generated

It's the same for all Grandstream models.
I can download the config if I set the Fanvil model with the same MAC.


Version is 18.0 (Build 312), on-premise.

I have tested on other systems.

Were you trying to download it manually? That would justify the above error message because you were requesting it using the fanvil format instead of the Grandstream one, hence the message above gets generated.

Grandstream uses the following format: cfgC074AD02E802.xml

You should clear your event log and then reset the Grandstream.

Then add the Grandstream from scratch and see if the event log says that the "RPS request for GrandStream (MAC:xxxxxxxxxxxxx) IP Phone of Grandstream delivered successfully". If you don't see this message first, there is no point troubleshooting the phone or provisioning file just yet since both those will need the RPS entry to work before they do their job.

The problem was typo in DHCP option 66.

Ah makes perfect sense now, I will change the title to include option 66.
