granstream gxw4004 for fax

Has anyone tried using a granstream gxw4004 for outbound faxing? Can I configure a gxw4004 and then plug in a standard fax machine and have it work?

Will it work in a remote site not on the same LAN as the 3cx server?

I can't speak specifically for the gxw4004, but any t38-compatible ata should suffice. I'm using the most bastardized ata imaginable (an old linksys RTP300 originally locked to vonage - currently, um, unlocked) to fax outbound from a remote site through 3cx and it works fine.

It will work fine. The 4004 is a good gateway.
