is it possible to only allow extensions to see other extensions within their group??

Stop them from seeing all extensions within the system

Do you mean in the webclient for example? Or do you mean to prevent them from even calling each other?

yup the webclient or the mobile phone app - they can call through to other groups but not see them

If you go to your Groups section in the management console, you can see the rights you grant to each group. There is the option to "Publish group information to all extensions ".

If none of your groups have this, they will only be able to see their own group members.

Ok then they should not be able to see each other. The webclient will show you only your group, and none of the rest.

What version is your PBX?

Make sure you have not added the same people to multiple groups (you have the ability to do so).

In that case, the webclient will show you all the groups your are part of.
