Group when creating Extension

Is it normal, when create Extension, that is not possible to change Group Membership?
Only "DEFAULT" ist in this list.

Hi @Tomas Raska ,

you cannot change the Group Membership from within the extension configuration, you can only configure the extensions rights in the groups that the extension is assigned.
In order to assign the extension to a different group other than DEFAULT, you need to create the extension and then go to Groups and add the extension to the group you want.

Then I do not understand, why is Group Membership in Extension as SELECT LIST, when I have no opportunity to choose any diferent Group.
Why not only TEXT FIELD. Or do you plan this thing implement?

The Group Membership in Extension>Rights is not a field for selecting which groups the extension is assigned to, it's a field that allows you to select which group rights to edit.
It is a drop-down list and not a text field because you might want to assign the extension to multiple groups after creating the extension.
It's just not designed to become a static field when only one option is available.
