GXP2160 Upgrade Fail

I am trying to upgrade GXP2160 phone from ver 1.0.7.X to 1.0.8.X .

Upgrade via HTTP

I downloaded HFS application and point the firmware location as well .

From phone GUI i setup the location of firmware to my PC address with firmware name after rebooting nothing happens .

No need for the firmware name. Just the HTTP path to the Grandstream 1.0.8.x firmware and reboot.

You seem to need a lot of information. I would recommend you to find a certified partner in your area and have them do this. You would save a lot of time.

Hi @MPH2020

Please keep in mind that many phones will refuse yo upgrade to the latest firmware, IF their firmware is too old.

The manufacturer wants you to upgrade step by step until you reach the final version.

If you visit GrandStream's site you will notice they have some messages informing you. Here is an example so you can understand what I mean
