After a few days my GXW4104 starts sending trash for the CID to 3cx. I see it in the 3cx logs as well. See example from a voicemail e-mail below.

If I login to the GXW and reboot it, the issue goes away.

Anyone run into this before?

Thanks for any input.

Hi,

Please post the 3cx logs, but its best you go to grandstream and ask them about the issue. Furthemore the tested firmware for this device is 1.3.1.6 i suggest you stick with it.

Thanks for the reply,

Here is the section from the logs on that call. I've seen this a few times since installing the GXW. The issue goes away with reboot.

I'll try my luck with GS but have not had much with them in the past. I may try to downgrade the firmware (if possible) or go back to my SPA3102.

Hi FGCUHank,

Management console provides "Server Activity Log" page. It shows information which is enough to initiate investigation.
Why don't you use it?

Thanks

Hi Stephan,

The event happened yesterday and scrolled off the window before I could grab it. I searched for the caller ID string in the logs and log backup directories and found it in the following files.

3CXAssistantServer.exe.log
CallHistoryService.log
CallHistory20110306.log
3CXDialier.040828.log
3CXQueueManager.040826.log

I can post the sections from each or is there one you would prefer?

Thanks in advance.
