Hi,

I'm pretty new to 3CX so might have missed the obvious here.

Following this doc - https://www.3cx.com/docs/sbc-high-availability-cluster/

I'm trying to setup a SBC HA Cluster and have two SBC VMs that seem to function fine by themselves, however when I run the HA Cluster script I receive the following message.

Detected 3cxsbc v.16.0.390
error: SBC High Availability Cluster is not compatible with 3CXSBC version 16.0.390.
Please install or upgrade to the latest 3CXSBC version and invoke this script again.

Under SIP Trunks, when I select the SBC I don't get the option to upgrade the SBC?

Running 3CX: 16.0.5.507 on Lightsail
SBC Version: 16.0.390 (taken from SIP Trunks page)

Aside from the above problem after re-reading the docs, it looks like this will never actually work as I have a Lightsail instance which you're unable to ping and it seems the HA cluster need to be able to ping the host.

Any help, insights or confirmation appreciated

It sounds like you installed the SBC's before following the guide. You'll want to uninstall the SBCs and then follow the guide as it installs a specific version of the SBC for HA.

Thanks for the reply, you were correct. I jumped the gun and installed the SBC first as I used the 3CX ISO as I was having issues finding a download to the correct build I needed.

Can you use the latest Debian for the SBC or does it need to be stretch?

Stretch as covered in the guide.
