Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not sure how much help I'm going to receive from the offending networks ISP (Both China based). I've sent them my logs and have asked them to look into it. Comcast is my ISP, however, unless it is another Comcast user who is targeting my network...it is up to me to contact the ISP of the offenders for resolution.

As far as Ver 10........I just realized it's out of beta. I will schedule an upgrade ASAP. Thanks for the heads up.....I'm surprised I didn't see that the release candidate was released via my RSS feed.

You should not be contacting any ISP in this case. An ISP must be contacted by another ISP. If the ISP is in the same country or region yes you can give a try but in China you can forget it. So your job is to report this attack to your ISP and tell him that You want this stopped. What they told you is ridiculous.

They will simply add a line in their router configuration and yes - they will stop them from a hundred hops ahead if they want. If they are not doing this you should complain till this is done. At this stage this is something that has to be done between ISP's.

Anyway this is how the procedure is done in Europe. Example in Germany they are super serious about this. Once we reported an attack coming from a German ISP. The attack was still active. In 15 minutes, it was blocked!! NO Questions asked - no doubts raised.
