Handset and External Ringer advice

I have a customer who has a hosted PBX with no SBC on site they would like a rugged cordless handset with case for use in a warehouse and they want an external ringer in the warehouse as well. Can anyone recommend hardware that would suit this environment as everything i can see on the supported list doesn't appear rugged enough and have never put an external ringer in yet so what are peoples thoughts on which models will work with a hosted system.

If they don't need a handset with anything more than basic features, you might consider a standard DECT cordless phone (rugged handset version), with both the external ringer and DECT base, connected to a port on an ATA.
