Hi!

Having strange problem with incoming calls that disconnects after 30sec. Anyone have any clue?

Using Linksys SPA 942 as client and 3CX VOIP provider is Cellip. EVerything else works great.
3CX server is portmapped in firewall to a own External IP.. No STUN.

Close all firewalls (windows and router)
check all your nat settings
restart the router then the server then all your devices

You may also want to play around with your reinvite settings per extension, as well as check your UDP timeout settings for SIP (should be longer than your re-registration setting)

Well , Finally got it work. Moved server to DMZ with public ip. Solved it.
BUT something else came up..
I restarted the PC I am using as server (virtual) but after boot postgres & 3CXPhoneSystem service eats CPU. I let it go for several hours but nothing got better. I even installed a XPSP2 from scratch but the same..

Are you running the latest build? They appear to have made some improvements on CPU utilisation...

The other question would be: How healthy is your virtual PC?

Dont know if it is the latest. But it was for two weeks ago.
Not virtual PC. It is running on a Xenserver together with some othe windows servers & XP & Linux. Of course it could be combination of 3cx & virtual environment that doesn't match in my case. I just wanted to try 3cx to find an easier admin than the asterisk.

Build v6.1793 is the latest - you can check by navigating to General - Versions/Updates in the 3CX GUI to confirm.

Do you have antivirus running on the Xenserver on any of the virtual servers? If so, have you configured it not to scan the edgesight data folder and processes? This can often lead to a sluggish CPU on a xenserver.

You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling 3CX from scratch - the backup/restore utility is very easy to use and is situated in the 3CX program group in the start menu. After you've done the first uninstall, check the CPU to see if it is behaving normally, possiby restart the virtual server (running XP) then do the install again.

It is.

Yes, at first I had antivirus software on it. But not when I installed WxpSP2 from scratch

Did that. And the latest times: If I use the backup/restore tool it stop/starts 3cx services. After that it eats CPU again. But if i don't use the backup/retore tool and sets all the settings manually the server works fine just until I restart it..

Btw - thank you everyone for your proposals. I appreciate it!
