https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/ doesn't list Yealink headset models but links to https://www.yealink.com/en/solution-detail/3cx. That page specifically only links to Bluetooth headsets https://www.yealink.com/en/product-list/headset-webcam?filter=bluetooth-wireless-headset.

https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/v18-update1/ shows a picture of the DECT headsets. Do those still work with the Desktop App as well? Or just Bluetooth?

A footer link on that Yealink/3CX page links to a news item https://www.yealink.com/en/news/news-251 which mentions only DECT but doesn't mention whether that is via the app or through the physical phones.

Thanks, just wanted to be sure.

Regarding your question, the tested headsets with 3cx are Yealink and are compatible with the 3CX webclient (desktop app, PWA).

Please also note that we do not test nor provide support for headsets connected to IP phones.

Thanks. So just to be super clear, ANY Yealink headset, DECT or Bluetooth? It just seemed weird Yealink only linked to Bluetooth from their own page.

Thanks John. So only the DECT models and the Yealink site is incorrect?

I did ask Yealink last week as well. They responded over the weekend to say all headsets work ("Yealink all headsets could work with 3CX app and web well. No worries about it."), so both DECT and Bluetooth. They didn't answer why they only link to one on their 3CX solution page. I think most people would rather have the DECT distance anyway.

Thanks,

The Yealink WH62 and WH63 work well as PC-only (ie, no desk phone) phones, connected to the PC via USB and using the 3CX app.
