Hi, 3CX 15.5 with a Yealink T23G

We are using standard provisioning template for the above handset.

However, despite the handset working, I keep getting this error popping up on the handset requiring me to hit the Cancel button to clear it.

I assume it is to do with this screen in the phone:

How do I stop this from happening?
I tried to clear the password from the phones setting, however it repopulates on save.

We do not want to use provisioning credentials unless we have to. Where is this set on 3CX?
(It does not appear in the phone extension settings).

The phones firmware is 44.83.0.55

Or is this to do with certificates? (Only accept trusted certs is Disabled).

Any assistance appreciated.

It does seem to provision anyway? I don't recall ever using RPS STUN, and the phones new, not used elsewhere...
Gives me something to look into but if anyone else has any ideas?

It could be as simple as a mis-keyed MAC address somewhere, I have experienced this myself in fact. Worth checking if you don't have any luck.

I would also assume that the phone is requesting for some sort of RPS credentials. The mac address for this could be bound to Yealnk RPS and not necessarily through a 3CX system.
As a test i would recommend factory resetting the phone and see if you get the username and password prompt before you provision this to 3CX. That should tell you if the phone is bound to RPS.

<embarrassed> Looks like it was picking up an old DHCP provisioning address for login to an tftp server that was used for switch firmware setups. Removed the DHCP option and issue has gone away.

Thanks for all the input!

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread with your solution.
