That's not normal. If you are running standard 3CX firmware on the device, a factory reset will wipe even password. The OK button restores to factory but with the password 3cx password that was provisioned. which i dont have

TY!.......not saying 3cx locked it but the software did provide the password for provisioning them, what sucks i dont have the instance.A few things don't add up..
- If you cannot access the phone, how do you know that it is being blocked by the 3CX password as opposed to something else? The only way you could verify that was if you had the 3CX password and successfully logged into it, which you said you don't..
- The 3CX firmware is not password protected. Our templates do not enforce password protection against resetting, I'm not aware of any conditions that can lead to a lockout when using a T46S in a supported manner.
I would speculate you probably had phones that were locked by the seller / phone company that provided them, and they are not running 3CX firmware. That could maaaaybe put you in such a situation. If I was you I would try to:
a) Use DHCP Option 66 to provision the phone without interaction, and hopefully provision a new password on it (doubtful)
b) Contact Yealink for help directly or look in their help documents
c) Contact the seller for help (in case you were sold locked phones in the first place)
This is definitely an unusual case which does not match the behavior of the firmware we provide.
Founded in 2005, when VoIP was an emerging technology, 3CX has gone on to establish itself as a global leader in business communications.
