I have a SIP trunk with 3 concurrent calls. 3CX (Enterprise level) is at the current version.
At the moment, there is just one person answering 1 physical phone (a Yealink 46s with the 3 lefthand buttons set up for 3 lines).
How do I simulate an analog hunt line, where the person is on a line and an incoming call lights up the second line?
I have only set up 1 extension, used to provision the physical phone, and of course it's working fine except for no multi-line capability. Do I need to set up 2 other extensions? I have no phone to provision them but could just assign them to a computer softphone temporarily to make them active. I do have a zero extension that is used on a mobile. On the mobile app I appear able to use the lines 1 through 3 buttons to do outgoing calls as expected.
Ring group is set to ring all simultaneously.
I have call waiting turned on, but there seems to be no audible signal an incoming call is coming in.
I could just set up a queue, but eventually we will have more phones and people and need to be able to use multiple lines.
Sorry if it's a super basic question, but I've looked through the forum and can't find the answer. Thank you in advance.
