hi need help i want call to number with * like call number *166
my 3cx is disconct when i call nubmer with *

Or did they say that instead of * you have to sent 1222 to them on the trunk?
That makes much more sense... In Germany we have some numbers that are only possible to dial on mobiles (something like *155) and on landlines you habe different numbers but without *

OK, do you for some reason need to dial with a * internally? Can you not just dial the 1222 version?

Than it is like a said, you dont need to dial the * or need any special outbound rules.

I am not sure i understand you correctly... Your provider said you have to dial *=1222? "=" isnt a symbol that you can dial anywhere...
if numer is *5666
i need call 12225666

Than go for it and dial 12225666.. Or you can do it with the outbound rules.

Prefix * strip 1 prepend 1222

Using *<anything> is problematic, to dial *1xxxx you will need to go to "Admin->System->Dial Codes" and adjust the defaults so it's not processed as a system request.

Or configure Custom Speed Dials that have the *xxxx as a name and the long number as what to dial, if a few people need to do it quickly and are too used to dialing the short form on mobile.
