We uploaded a file to the playlist and today i noticed it was no longer playing the file. I tested it and it did play for the answer file test. It is playing the generic on hold but there are no queues just a ring group. Is there another place that I am missing?

I am on version 16.0.1078

When you say that you uploaded it to the playlist, do you mean you went to "Settings >> Music on Hold >> Playlists" and actually created a Playlist that includes this file or did you simply add it as an additional Music file in the General MOH tab? If the latter, do bear in mind that the list seen in the "General MOH" only applies if "Randomize Playback" (at the bottom) is enabled. Otherwise, only the first file in the list will be played everytime (Music file 0).

I would also check the audio is compatible - the correct format:

Music on Hold files: Format WAV (PCM, 8 kHz, 16 bit, Mono, Max size: 100MB)

Hold music file is fine. Its been that way for long time.

There is 1 file in the playlist. It plays just fine when i call to test the file. It will not play on hold. Its happening at 2 different instances too. Its not isolated to one pbx system

Have you added the audio file here:

or to a playlist, here:

Also, what do you mean when you say that you call to test the file? Do you mean you have the audio played to an extension through the Management Console?

Yes of course they are in the MOH settings and yes play file

and in the General MOH, which position did you put it in Music file 0, Music file 1 or Music file 2...?

Also, if you scroll down, is the following option enabled?
