G'day all,

Did anyone elses nye holiday default out of office fail to work this year?

Same here, our 3CX (Service Desk) has been open all day, when it is a Bank Holiday and we should have been closed!

I checked the phones on Christmas Day and 3CX was in Holiday mode, didn't test today!!!!!.

Why did the "Every Year" setting not work today (1st Jan)!

To get the office closed, I deleted the "Every Year" and put in the holiday for 1st January 2018, but this was very later afternoon.

I think 3cx needs to work on their QC of their code..... this is basic level stuff. This has been a running install since V15 when we installed it brand new, and ran upgrades as they came out, No restores from backup or anything.

Had the same issue!

Had 4 customers call to say their systems were all accepting calls on New Years Day despite a global holiday being set!

Anything we can do to prevent this happening again?

apparently going to the holiday days and opening and then resaving fixes it.

A nice message to the 3cx folk, " I really enjoyed being woken up at 8:33am on new years day after not going to bed until 2am" just because our phone system didn't re-use the pre-filled in defined public holidays from last year, that were marked as use every year.

Whilst this may seem trivial in the world, its a real nuisance, and like i said before a real basic feature in a phone system.
