Hi

Just after some clarification here please.

Testing out the script for holidays on specific DID.

The DID gets assigned to the script, but store script just ends after prompt.

Assuming yes - am I supposed to edit this script to set call routes for open/closed/holiday?

Hi,

By default the holiday script does not have a predefined destination .

You should not define this script as the destination of a DID but rather on the SIP trunk level :
https://www.3cx.com/blog/call-flow-scripts/holiday-prompt/

When a call is received on any DID of that trunk, the script will check if the destination of the DID is currently on holiday and if so , it will play the holiday prompt and then send the call to the holiday route of that destination .

Hi Joris,

I was merely testing inhouse and all my DIDs are on one trunk and dont want to put all numbers in holiday.

The script has the option to apply to DID so I assume then I have to modify script?

Ys if you want to have it only o one DID, you will need to adjust the script.

But as mentioned , the script is activated only if the destination of the DID is on holiday . You can apply this script to only one DID by creating a department specifically for the destination of that DID and define the holiday in that department.

Or the did in a seperated department , this so the script is only running for that department

The DID is in a separate department, thats how im defining the holiday days.

I just wanted to know how the routing / announcements worked on different configurations
