Hosted Enterprise Stop Start recording with Yealink T54W

Hi

Checking forum manuals etc. I can see stop start recording is only offically supported using clients not IP phones

Is there a way to start stop recording on a Yealink T54/57W using a custom template?

The customer is a charity call centre and dont have any PC's on desks, Agents are paper based only

Hi Graham,

There is no method to enable 3CX recordings using commands from an IP phone.

It has to be done via the 3CX webclient / apps or alternatively you can enable it by default on extensions.

You could use our REST API. Build a CFD application that when dialed looks at who the caller is and then uses our API to toggle the recording state. Then program a BLF to call the CFD extension.
