Hosted Vs Self Hosted ( Azure)

Hi,

My 3cx server is currently on prem running on Windows 10 VM and I'm looking to move it to the cloud.

I have a perpetual license with 16 sim calls.

However, I'm not sure what will be the best and most cost effective option.

Should I go with Hosted by 3CX or should I spin up and provision my own Windows or Linux VM on Azure?

If I decide to go with Hosted by 3cx, how much do I need to pay 3CX for an Instance. I couldn't find any pricing for the hosted service by 3cx.

There are a few things to consider and the below points should provide you with basic guidance to help you to make a decision depending on your system requirements.

Host your system with 3CX:

• We manage the 3CX operating system and updates, as well as monitor your 3CX system 24/7.
• You will need to pay the subscription cost + hosting for the 16SC instance.
• The perpetual license would need to be converted into an annual subscription first. The maintenance must be valid in order to request the conversion, and the email would need to be sent to [email protected] by the registered owner.
• You can find the requirements and more details in this guide on How to Migrate to 3CX Hosted.

Self-manage your 3CX:

• When spin up and provision your own Windows or Linux VM on Azure, you will need to continue to fully manage your system.
• You can keep your current perpetual license and keep renewing maintenance, whereby the cost is equivalent to annual subscription renewal.
• You will pay only the subscription cost.
