I have customized a template for our Fanvil X4 phones to have 6 SP locations for page one of the BLF's. The reason I didn't do this through the 3CX console is because by default, the first two BLF buttons on the X4 are assigned to Headset and MWI. I could not figure out a way to get rid of these two buttons using the console other than customizing the template, which worked fine.
What I'm wondering now is, will the 3CX console options work with a customized template. Just playing around a bit it, some things seem to work and others I'm not sure about.
Can someone enlighten me on best practice with customized templates and 3CX options along with which takes precedence?
