How do i enable SSH on my debian SBC install

I am not using a Pi - just normal debian install, need to putty in but its not enabled by defualt and the internet isnt being too helpful

Its activated by default.. did you use the correct login? What is the reason you need ssh?

Trying to putty into the SBC to figure out what my PBX isn’t authenticating

I am on the same subnet as it so not trying to remote in externally

I can assure you its not isntalled and enabled by defualt, i've done 12 installs of SBC's to my pbx over the past year, it used to be installed however the last three i've done I am unable to putty into them from a local LAN under the same subnet

I have just installed on my side and i can see that the sshd service is running as expected without any issue.
I would suggest to go to the machine directly and run the command
$ sudo systemctl status sshd

This should give you the below result. If this is the case you need also to check for any restriction on your network.
