How do I get privileges to add an idea?

What I'd like is a standalone app that mimics the 3CX firewall test.

The reason being our customers often have complicated network/firewall configurations and being able to have a tool that allows them to be able to configure their network would save me a lot, in some cases like days, of work trying to convince their network people they haven't configured it correctly.

Typical conversation:
while network not work do:
Me: there is no traffic getting to 3CX, I can see it being sent to your public IP.
Them: we do already.

Short answer - Sell more 3CX.

Or find a partner who has the privilege to do it for you.

I'd use Wireshark to prove traffic isnt hitting 3CX to prove it.

Sorry to hear. But, only higher-level partners can post ideas as per article I linked.

A while ago I did find someone to post an idea, should try to track them down again.

I use Wireshark, provide SIP traffic dumps, draw big arrows on the pictures and explain traffic is blocked.

If there was an app like my suggestion we could give it to the client and tell them to adjust their network until they get green lights. Simple networks are easy but Finsec industry networks are a nightmare.

Also I think if you contribute a lot to the forum you might be graced with privilege to have an idea.

Just have them install 3CX and use that?
