How Do I Properly Test Call Journaling?

A "CRM Template tool" is mentioned as a soluton. Where can I find that? Is That tool for linux?

so far I have tested the contact creation on the crm settings page. Would be cool to have the other test cases there as well!

You can download the tool installer from here:

This is a Windows application. The 3CX server is not involved in this case because you're testing from this tool as if the tool would be the server. Once you have the template tested, you can upload the template to your Linux 3CX server and the template will work in the same way.

That section only lets you test contact lookup and contact creation. For Call Journaling you will need to make a real call from an external number, and then check the 3cxSystemService.log file.
