How do you handle shared line appearance?

1. How do most people handle shared line appearances? For clarity it is the administrative assistant to boss scenario where the admin assistant can answer a call on behalf of their boss.
2. If configuring the web interface of a yealink phone, are there scenarios that could wipe those settings since they are not deployed via a template? Call them out if you know please.
3. If you have to to this for a large deployment, do people start to use a template?

The receptionist can answer the manager's phone by BLF, or dialling the call pickup code.

There is also the possibility of using ring my mobile simultaneously and in the mobile phone field of the manager's extension you can add the extension number of the receptionist (so they can ring simultaneously as a forked call)
