I had a Raspberry Pi system working fine until they removed support for that platform. I had to change SIP providers because VOIP.MS is only available to Dedicated servers. I am now looking to add my IP Phones to the system. I can't find Add Phones option. How do I do this under StartUP?

You need startup pro to connect IP phones

I wish that they would have said that there was significantly reduced functionality in StartUP compared to the self managed version. I hope the Windows Self managed version doesn't have the same limitations as StartUP. I don't need much and to have to pay more than twice my current phone expenses doesn't make sense. Now I just have to scrape together a windows computer.

If you already had a Raspberry Pi, you should be able to do a Debian computer without too much hassle. Or just get an instance with Lightsail or Vultr or Digital Ocean for $5/month. Cheaper and less headache.

At the moment this is not possible, but it will be quite soon. StartUP is under active development and you will see more features popping up than what you see now in the beta.

If you are in a hurry though, get a 3CX Hosted system instead, convert the Pi into an SBC, and add your phones.

If you prefer to self-host on Windows, take a look here to make sure the OS and hardware meet the requirements:
1. https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/phone-system-installation-windows/

2. https://www.3cx.com/docs/recommended-hardware-specifications-for-3cx/

Spin up a dedicated in Vultr or DigitalOcean and you'll be able to add phones and manage everything.

Will StartUP require an SBC for IP phones? Will it be limited to StartUP Pro, or also available in StartUP Free? I'm testing StartUP Free right now, and I've got some desk phones eagerly waiting to be connected :)

Its limited to Startup Pro. How to connect a phone when its avaiable no one knows at the moment. Could be a SBC.

Yes it will require the SBC has STUN is not supported in StartUP nor Hosted.

And yes it will be for StartUP Pro. You should be able to upgrade to Pro during the testing, even tho the system isn't completed yet.
