Hi,
I have brand new cisco CP-6901 with (SIP) Software 9.3(1)SR1.
I'am looking for this cp-6901 SIP configuration templates.
I saw my phone is looking for SEP$.cnf.xml file,CTL$.tlv or XMLDefault.xml file.
I was trying to use default template from 3CX for cisco SPA phones but it doesn't work.
Does anyone have any solution how to do that? I read it is difficult but if cisco says it support SIP...

Regards,

I don't recall an attempt, with that particular Cisco model, in the past. That doesn't mean it won't work, but, just because the manufacturer say it will support SIP, doesn't mean it will.

I know that users have been advised, in the past, to avoid, some of the Cisco SIP sets because they are extremely difficult to provision. The fact that there is no 3CX template, does not bode well.

I'm assuming that you've read over this and the links. http://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/cisco-7940-sip/ http://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/cisco-7940g-7960g/

Your best bet, is to keep at it, or hope that someone else on the forum has already done the "heavy lifting" and can offer some advice.
