This is probably a simple question, but how does your company demo 3cx for potential clients? Here are a few that I have used and want to try:

I've used:
  1. No direct demo, just show a powered-on phone and explain the system
  2. Use pre-provisioned Android and Windows soft phones (doesn't give the customer a feel for a "real" phone system though)
Really want to try with a cloud or home office based 3cx install:
  1. Bring a pre-provisioned SBC and a few pre-provisioned phones <--- will this work without modifying the customer's router/firewall?
  2. Use a few pre-provisioned STUN phones <-- 99% sure this requires too much router work to be reasonable
Looking for suggestions of what you do, or answers to the last 2. Thanks!

Hi,
i use the second option with cloud pbx and a SBC behind 4G router, this give you zero work on client side, this is usable everywhere mobile network is available.
You can have all the phones you want demoing already set , when you come your client , you just need some power and connect phones for example in a meeting room with a computer to have access to console.
if your pbx has an active trunk you can call and be called for real demo , this is for me the easiest way

The @aws2p 's option is surely the best one if you want to have 0 problems once you get to your customer place.

SBC alone can work too if client doesn't restrict too much the ports, so maybe let the SBC in DHCP mode and just try it on LAN client.

STUN can be tricky if you want to show a few+ phones but if you only want to show 1 phone, you can try with only STUN phone + Web Client

i use a laptop with 3cx on it, POE switch, 2 phones and a 4g router for service.

I like this setup, you are not restricted to the clients network.

When demonstrating the system, the client does not really care how the phones connect, there are more interested in the functions and features of the system

I get customer on the phone "hey! you want a 15 minute demo?"

starts webinar using 3CX webmeeting and shows system

"okay so heres what it can do!.. oh by the way, did i mention the webinar software im using now comes WITH the system?"

jaw drop

I also connect my Samsung S8 to my PC and use SideSync to show the 3CX app and how it has address book etc.
