Hello,
It is possible to add more than one connection on an extension.
I added computer and mobile phone with OCX client and they ring at the same time.
But in "Extensions configuration", i have not checked "Ring my mobile simultanepously" :

What is it used for ?
Thanks for help.

Cyclone,

Please note that once you have installed same extension on both windows and mobile using 3cx, the function "ring my mobile simultaneously" does not need to be active.

This function enables the mobile phone registered on extension details to ring; that means you don't have to have internet access on you mobile since you should receive the call as a regular one, not using 3cx mobile.

On the other hand it will consume 2SC from your resources.

Why don't you set a different extension for your mobile if your are willing to have 3cx on it?

Hope I could help and made myself clear.

Hello Daktur,
I prefer not to multiply extensions by simplicity. As for Viber, I prefer that incoming calls on an extension are duplicate on the PC and the mobile phone.
Thanks for your answer.

Ring my Mobile simultaneously would be used by those that chose not to install a 3CX extension on their device, or did not have an "always on" data Plan.

What is an "always on" data Plan" ?
Regards

Some mobile users opt for a limited Data plan for their mobile, which means they don't leave data turned on all the time, or the monthly allotment would be gone in short order. Others don't bother adding a Data plan, and simply use Wifi when and where available.
