Hi
I'm using business edition v.7 with Cisco 7960 phones
How can I disable "From:02945809385" to be displayed on the phone's display
or how to display queue's name only on the phone's display?
Reason I'm asking is as I got queues names appended to CID (Settings/General/Global options)
so I can see on what queue caller has rang so receptionist can answer it accordingly to the queue's name
However problem is that my Cisco 7960 doesnt display whole queue name as there is not enough space
on the screen so sometimes you can only see only first 3 letters of the queue name eg
"From: 07920139999:Com"
where in this particular example queue name is Computers by JB
If I could manage to get rid of "From:9879876" and just leave a queue name
that would be fantastic
Ive tried to find any options to disable CID but I cant find any thing like this on the PBX
Ive checked cisco 7960 phone settings and again there is nothing to customise
either size of phone's display or the way it display text coming from PBX
Anyone got any ideas
Cheers
Shaun
