How often does 3cx check its license?

We're prepping to move our phone system, and I restored a backup to the new location. This seems to activate the license in the new location, and I'm not ready to move until the end of this week. Will my current 3cx install de-activate?

Please note that the PBX should not be active on 2 machines at the same time as this could cause issues with your licence. If the activation server detects activation requests from the same licence and different machines then it could block the licence key.
Since you already moved the PBX but want to use the original installation i would recommend powering the new machine down until you are ready to move to it.

But how often does 3cx check its license? Is it a daily thing? Only when the server reboots?

No vendor is going to tell you how their activation process works. That leads to people trying to defeat it!
