does anyone know how to How to Activate Emergency Evacuation in 3CX? E.g. if there a Fire, can we enable 3CX to send an Alert?

Settings > General, bottom of the page. See Notifications and Template.

Just bear in mind that the actions Frederick's referring to will be triggered once a call to an emergency number is detected, meaning it will be the same every time. Is this what you're looking for?

Hi Chris, We don't want that, can this be enabled to a certain emergency number? or any other way? basically, we want o sent out an alert to all the clients, a call or a notification to their 3cx interface display as an alert

Or... can we just enable this for 1 emergency number? (if there are few numbers in the emergency list)

I'm afraid not, but, you could have the person that received the emergency email notification, manually make the call to, let's say a paging group and make the corresponding announcement.

If you want to have prerecorded messages play on a paging group you could utilize the 3CX Call Flow Designer to create a Call Flow App that has an IVR with a pre-recorded prompt call a paging group, and play it. Very similar to what is discussed here with the only difference that extension 300 would be the paging group for your case. You would need to create one CFA for every prompt.

With this setup, the person receiving the emergency notification would:

1. Check the number dialed
2. Based on the number decide which announcement is needed.
3. Call the appropriate Call Flow App.

If you need additional assistance or information regarding the Call Flow Designer I recommend posting in the relevant section: https://www.3cx.com/community/forums/call-flow-designer.63/

I encourage you to take a look at our 3CX Emergency Notifier tool. In addition to handling calls to emergency numbers with more granular notifications, we also offer "panic buttons". With panic buttons you can play alarms through phones, and overhead paging, We can also send notifications by SMS, email, and desktop popups.

You can have different panic buttons for fire, tornado warnings, active shooters, or whatever you need. The panic buttons are just extensions, so you can make them BLFs on your phone. The panic buttons are toggles, so pressing (or dialing) them the first time turns the alarm on. Pressing the second time turns them off.
