Since switching to 3CX, our front desk has been getting a couple of robocalls a day. What is the best way to address this issue?

Use Digital Receptionist - automated dialers usually aren't able to enter key tones to take menu selections.

The two aren't related. 3CX has no bearing on calls until they actually ring in. Its just coincidence.

As far as how to deal with them, you have a couple options;

To prevent them from coming in at all:
  • See if your provider can help (we offer the business version of Nomorobo on our SIP trunks).
  • Put something between your dial tone and 3CX that can screen calls

To handle them after they hit 3CX:
  • CFD app (maybe) that can do the same thing as the first two options.
  • DR like @12494

You are lucky if it is only a couple of calls a day. The DR method is the simplest, and easiest way of dealing with these. Even a greeting such as "Thank you for calling XZY company, our hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, we're located at 1234 Main Street, Chicago, press 1 for our receptionist".
Keep it short, make it seem as if you are providing the callers with information rather than obviously screening the calls.
