Hi,
i'd like to create BLF to force 3CX phone system to IN or OUT of office, i've found dial code settings, created new one *64
my problem is about linking blf action to an IVR message.

I'd like to force system off with blf (that's ok for that) but simultaneously transfert incoming calls to a specific IVR with special message.

is it a way to simply do that ?

In your inbound rules you would need to specific "out of office hours" send the call to an IVR.

BLF - Create custom speed dial for *641 for IN and *642 for OUT and *64 for default hours.

Thanks for answer:), I know how to do with BLF. My question is about how to proceed pushing BLF to "off" 3cx, for example, and in the same time incoming calls are forwarded to a specific IVR,
When you force 3CX "on" or "off" it's not to send the calls to daily "out of office hours IVR"

So if you have any idea about doing this, i'm listening.

I think you may be looking for a speed dial, not BLF. The message heard will be the one you from the destination for out of office hours.

You could however send your out of office destination to an extension with custom hours set to it. During Office Hours it will play the message you originally wanted to hear when using *64, and during normal out of office hours, you can still set the destination you have now.

Hi,
sorry i'm not sure well understand what to do, in my idea first step is to create 3 BLF set with each short code 64, *641,642 .
How or where these BLF are automaticly linked to a specific out of office destination.
Do you have example of settings?
In my expectings it's not to send incoming calls each days in specific hours but in case of unexpected event, you need for example to close office and give callers a specific "out of office hours" message for couple of hours or one day.

Hi,

You just need to set two BLF options as "Custom Speed Dial" in the receptionist's phone

*642 = Force system OUT of office permanently
*64 = Go back to default hours, and follow schedule

For your custom message:
  1. Create a new Extension, let's name it "Message Handler"
  2. Change it's voice message under the Voicemail tab under greetings to the one you want
  3. Enable Auto Switch under the Forwarding Rules
  4. On the Available Status, forward all internal/external calls to voicemail
  5. On the DND Status, forward all calls to whatever destination you originally had under your trunk's normal "Destination for calls outside office hours"
  6. Finally go to your trunk, and set this extension as the destination for out of office hours
This means that if you put the system in emergency out-of-office (while under your global in office hours) it will send them to the special message you wanna hear (the extensions voicemail) and during normal out of office hours, it will send them to your normal out of office destination.
