Good day.

How to block one extension (specifically the operator extension local 100) in an inbound rule or IVR.

The client set an IVR in the inbound rule and they set a key press event to another IVR and Call Queue.
They also enable direct dialing, but the problem is that when the client or the caller dials local 100, it will route through local 100 even though it is not in the Call Queues.
Is it possible to block an extension to prevent incoming calls while direct dialing is enabled?

Replace the IVR with a CFD, this will disable direct dial to any extension and only allow dialing to what is in the CFD configuration

You can use a DTMF type IVR and configure the only direct numbers allowed to be dialed without having to use a CFD.

Also, be sure that all extensions have a custom voice mail message because the default 3cx message is "Record your message and press pound or press start to contact the operator"

Thank you for this informative setup.
