How to conference call room?

Is there a way to assign an extension to a conference call room so that I can setup a did to this room and transfer calls directly to it?

I don't want to go through the hassle of "typing in a subject, attendees, blahblahblah". I just want people to be able to dial into a conference room whenever they want.

I see there's a way I can dial 70, create a conference room by id, say my name, and join it, but I want there to permanently always be one going so that I can just throw a call into the room, not requiring an ID, or anyone saying their name.
