Hi,
using Startup Free, whenever I reset the password, the system will send an open e-mail including all my credentials, login and password, so that anybody who got access to that e-mail on its way through the net can login as me. That's not really secure. Is there any way I could set a new password without having it sent in an open e-mail throughout the world?
Many thanks in advance
and best wishes
Mark

I'm not aware of a way to reset the password in Startup at this time without it being emailed in plain text. However, recent updates in the dedicated product send a link to the user, who then can click and set their own password. I expect this change to make it's way to Startup at some point.

Hello, MR123,
This will be solved in upcoming release (update 7A and update 8)
