When somebody rings the doorbell, all extensions are called as expected.
But when nobody asnwers a phone, the visitor hears a message: 'thank you, goodbye'.
Not really the idea to send out this message to the visitor. At least we're friendly. ;)

My current setup:
  1. I've got a doorbird doorbell that is properly registerd in 3CX (extension 200)

  2. Next to it, I've got 10 extensions in a ringgroup (extension 501).
The ringgroup is a 'ring all' setup for 10 seconds.
When no answer, it goes to 'digital receptionist' (extension 900)

  3. The digital receptionist has the 'empty.wav'.
    All options are empty.
And after 60 seconds, it should 'end the call'

Can I end this call without a returning message?
Or should I use another approach?

Hi,

The digital receptionist 900 has an end destination if no DTMF input, and it generates the "thank you goodbye message"

What you can do instead is skip the DR entirely and send 501 to End Call which will play a busy signal

Thank! But guess I prefer the thank you message instead.

Else:
- Visitors will have after 10 seconds the busy tone and will get confused.
- Or I should put a longer dial tone, which will make us go crazy if the phones keep ringing for fe 2 minutes.

I would guess that most people will understand what a busy tone is and try to ring the bell again a couple of times before giving up.

You do have the ability to change the messages though if you like, from Settings > System Prompts > Manage Prompt Sets and create a custom set which you can assign your DR
