How to get better text to speech in CFD

Hi All

I have been testing some text-to-speech API, during another project, and stumbled upon a IMO a much better API.

Microsoft Translator API i way better than Google. Much better speech synthesis.

Try this

Translate this Danish text to English

“Velkommen til Legoland, dit opkald er meget vigtigt for os, Vent venligst.”

And play the translation using the “Listen Icon”

Can we get Microsoft Speech API in CFD?

Hello @complit,

At the moment the CFD only supports Amazon Polly and Google Cloud for Text to Speech.

Please post the suggestion in the Ideas forum, so it can be voted by 3CX users. If this gets enough votes, then we will consider this for a future update.

The Google TTS API indeed is troublesome and vastly inaccurate at most times. For my professional projects I rely on other external text to speech online as well. Moreover accent is as issue in most of these programs, however, the TTS I'm currently using has 250+ voices and different accents available for my projects. The Microsoft one is not essentially as bad as Google in terms of accuracy but it needs bug fixes too often... so I stopped using it as well
