How to manage greetings from phone/softphone

Hi,

I know how to manage voicemails from phone/softphone/webclient... but a voicemail will allow users to record a message. I would like to end the call when the message was heard.

So for me, it's not a voicemail, but maybe à digital receptionnist ? But in that case, you need to go through the management console to manage this. Isn't there an easier way ?

I believe this is possible through the call flow designer. The CFD can allow you to record a new prompt or set a pre-recorded prompt.

I have never use CFD before but I'm happy to learn something new ... but just to make sure you understood my client's need :

They want to be able to record a message, associate it to a status, and change then there status all from the softphpone / ip phone... but when somebody will call, they will ear the recorded message but then the phone will hang up (instead of voicemails that would allow users to leave a message).

So if I go ahead with this CFD, do I need to intervene everytime a message is recorded or a status changed ?
