How can I start 3cx Management Console GUI on the Debian 3CX server from the command line? I hope this question makes sense as I am new to 3CX using Debian, but I want to administer the server on the server and not from another computer.

As far as I know the 3CX Management Console is only available via web browser using https://fqdn:5001.
Since debian install is supposed to be 'lean and mean' you shouldn't have a bunch of stuff running on it like a full desktop environment which would give you a web browser.
So even though

you might not get your wish.

Thank you for your reply, but there must be a way, apparently browsers can be installed with minimal desktop environments, has any done this? Any Pointers? If I can do it on windows, why not linux?

Ok, I found a way and it is right in the install of 3cx on Debian. When presented with installation options, select Graphical Expert and then expert from the options provided, evenually you will be presented with many garphical desktops that you can choose from.

Hope this info helps someone.

Have a great day everyone. :):):)
