Hi,

I want to create an executable program that display the number of the caller.

So, what should i mention on my program do it?

How can do it using 3cx assistant?

i read this : http://wiki.3cx.com/api/crm-api , but i have not understand anything.

Please help

Regards

You can build your executable to pickup arguments, and then 3CX can pass them on.

So for a url you could trigger,

http://domain.com/query?=%callid%

And then windows would start the default web browser program.

Thanks tpinnovations,

What arguments do you talk about? I need help for this part.

How can i know the number of the caller?

Please see manual for exact usage. At present this feature only works with Snom phones

The URL to enter will depend on the model of phone that you are using. For example, to use this feature with a SNOM phone, insert the following URL
http://10.172.0.116/command.htm?number=%number%
where 10.172.0.116 is the IP of your phone. Calls will then be triggered as if the number was entered on the phone!

Hi Nick,

Thanks for answering but what i'm trying to do is to display the phone number on my PC screen but not on my phone.

Instead of building something, just use the 3CX VoIP Phone or 3CX Assistant and it will pop up who's calling.

Hi,

I really need to know how to do it?

Please help me,

There is documentation available for the 3CX API in the Wiki. Nobody here is going to teach you programming skills, that is beyond the scope of this forum. If you don't understand how to use API calls within an application you are writing then you may need to hire someone that can do this for you.
