Hi, I try to call a client this morning, and they use a digital reception system. The system ask me to press "1" for sales, "2" for customer support, etc. When I press "1", or "2"....tried every button, nothing happened.

I am using Yearlink T48G connected to 3CX server. Is anyone know how to setup the 3cx system, so user can press 1, 2,...etc.during the call?

Thanks a lot! :)

You will need to find the IVR under Inbound Rules, depending on the DID. Then, under Digital Receptionists, you go to that IVR and you'll see a table with all digits and what they do.

Hi, Frederick,

Thanks for helping me. I am trying to call other people, during the call, I was asked to press 1 or 2...etc. to interact with their phone system. But when I press the button on my yearlink phone, nothing happed.

I looked the digital receptionist on my 3cx server, it looks like is for other people call me.

could you help. Is there any setup in outbound rule?

Assuming you are using the recommended firmware and templates with your 3CX installation then this is a problem with your SIP trunks. I assume you are not using a 3CX certified SIP trunking provider so you'll need to talk to them about why your DTMF is not working.

There's always the chance that it's a problem on your client's side as well. Have you ever called somewhere that required you to press digits during the call and it worked? If so, it might be a problem on their end and not yours.

Hi, Cobaltit,

Thanks for the reply, I am using "Australian phone company", not sure if it is certified sip trunking provider, I have sent them an email, see if they can have a look the problem.

Thanks :)
