Hi,

will it works, to make a videocall with a yealink phone with a camera?
Does anyone have experience with this?

Best Regards

Hi @Vettel

Yes this works, for phone-to-phone calls and for phone-to-web/desk client calls.

This does not guarantee that the video calls will work on 100% of the cases though.

What use-case do you have in mind?

Hi,

I´d like to use many Yealink T58-A phones and use videocall with them.
So I can use it out of the box right? Or I have to set some settings?

Thanks!

You can use it out of the box as far as I know, just make sure you are running the latest 3CX firmware before provisioning.

I have tested them successfully on LAN and SBC mode. You just dial an extension, you press the "Video Call" button, and when the other phone rings, you press the camera icon to answer in video mode.

Thanks for your great answer.
Than I will buy some phones. :)

No problem!

I would strongly suggest to start with two phones, and test every scenario you want, in the PBX and network that you intend to use them. Once you know how everything works and feel confident to deploy the rest, go ahead and order them.

This is just to make sure that you don't come across any unknown factors that may cause you trouble, and to give you a chance to solve them before buying a shipment of phones.
